Frequently Asked Questions
Really, just Wranglers?
Yup, just Jeep Wranglers. The CEO: Mike has owned an FJ40 for over 20 years and owns a 1992 Mercedes Wolf. He knows the good and bad points of owning these trucks. Without question, the Wrangler JK is a much better vehicle in so many ways. We give you the look you want in a vehicle that is time tested, rides awesome, and is easy to get fixed. Our builds can be used as a daily driver and are great for long (E.g. 3+ hour) trips. Regardless of what late model restoration shops tell you, old 4x4s, are not good for long trips and daily commutes. Also, focusing on one vehicle has allowed us to become a trusted vendor at what we do.
How long is this going to take?
From the time you sign the statement of work, provide us with a Jeep Wrangler and we receive the initial deposit, it takes about 30-60 days.
What is the process?
Once we receive sign off, your jeep, and the deposit, we add the build to our schedule, and you are given a completion date.
Is the vehicle still safe?
Yes. Unlike a late model Toyota FJ40, Land Rover Defender 90, Ford Bronco, Mercedes Wolf, etc. you will have all the modern safety equipment (E.g. airbags, antilock breaks, etc.) that your Wrangler provided from the factory.
How is the money paid?
We collect 40% upfront another 30% before we go to paint and the final 30% before we deliver the truck. You will receive pictures before every money transfer.
What model Jeep Wranglers are supported?
Currently just the JK. The JL is in the works. The TJ is currently not supported.
Can you make a classic Bronco, G-Wagon or an FJ40 from a Jeep Wrangler?
Currently, we use Land Rover Defender parts but, we are considering other builds. Tell us what you want and we’ll let you know if we can build it.
Can I suggest some cool after market parts?
Yes, definitely. We love making builds unique. If you found a big rugged bumper, a supercharger, snorkel, or some cool interior upholstery that you like, send your build manager an email with the URL and we can probably make it happen.
Can you restore my Jeep JK?
Certainly, we address most rust issues but, we currently don’t do restorations. We do, however, make suggestions on parts that we feel should be fixed or replaced. Repairs are done in our shop.
What about lift kits?
Sure, we can lift your jeep 2 – 3 inches and then add 33” tires. That will give you about 4” of lift. If you want more lift than that, it’s a Jeep Wrangler and any local shop can do it for you.
Do you sell kits?
For most of the conversion, we use Land Rover Defender panels and parts. We also build our own panels to fill in the gaps. If necessary, we can provide replacement parts in case something gets damaged. Contact us if you’d like to learn more.
Can you ship a vehicle outside the U.S.A?
We can ship your truck to any country in the world. We have a strong network of freight forwarders that specialize in shipping vehicles all around the world.
Can I come visit?
Sure, we love visitors. We are located in Cape Coral, Florida and Sanford, Maine. All visits require an appointment.
Will the new front end you put on my Jeep Wrangler make it more off road capable?
We’ll answer this question by first asking you a question: If you put on superman underpants, will you become stronger? If you answered ‘yes’ to this question, then our answer is also ‘yes’.
